While it’s winter in the northern hemisphere, many are dreaming of setting sail, heading out to tropical climes and idyllic sandy beaches. Disney Cruise Line has announced its latest cruise itineraries for the Caribbean and Mexico in 2024. It’s now time to plan that future cruise to tropical destinations. Read on to learn more about the five ships sailing from Florida, Texas, Louisiana and California in 2024.
Sail away on Disney Wish to the Bahamas

Disney Wish is the newest ship in Disney’s fleet and offers three- and four-night trips to Nassau, Bahamas. Meanwhile, cruises depart from Disney’s home port, Port Canaveral, Florida. While board, passengers will enjoy entertainment that brings Disney, Pixar, Marvel and Star Wars stories to life. Passengers will also visit Castaway Cay, the private island exclusively available to Disney Cruise Line guests.
Sail Disney Dream to the Caribbean with Disney Cruise Line

Disney Dream will set sail from Florida, with three- or four-night cruises to the Bahamas, or five-night sailings to the western Caribbean. Each cruise includes innovative dining, Broadway-style shows, character encounters and firework displays over the ocean. Moreover, a stop will be made at Castaway Cay.
Mexican & Caribbean dream on Disney Fantasy

The Disney Fantasy also sails from Port Canaveral on a seven-night cruise to the beaches of the eastern and western Caribbean. In the eastern Caribbean, the ship visits Tortola and St. Thomas. Meanwhile, the western sailings stop at Grand Cayman, Cozumel, Mexico and Falmouth, Jamaica. Moreover, on board, guests will enjoy plenty of entertainment and fun out at sea. However, the ship also makes a stop at Castaway Cay.
Disney Magic from Galveston, Texas with Disney Cruise Line

Disney Magic will have two, limited-time engagements in Galveston, Texas early in 2024. After the New Year arrives, the cruise ship will sail to the Caribbean on four- to six-night voyages through the end of January. On top of this, in March and April, that popular time for spring breakers, the ship will head out on four- to seven-night cruises to the western Caribbean.
Moreover, for the second consecutive year, Disney Magic will sail from New Orleans in February for four-, five- and seven-night Caribbean cruises. Meanwhile, the Big Easy is the place that inspired Walt Disney Animation Studios’ The Princess and the Frog.
Head to Mexico on Disney Wonder

In March 2024, after Disney Wonder completes its inaugural season in Australia and New Zealand, the ship will sail back to San Diego, California. From there, passengers will be able to enjoy three- to seven-night sails to Mexico. This will include the popular Baja Peninsula, with stops planned at Cabo San Lucas, Puerto Vallarta, Mazatlan, Ensenada and Catalina Island
