Hilton New York Times Square Reveals The Lion King’s Royal Suite

For fans of the original animated movie, The Lion King, and the new Disney’s The Lion King on Broadway, Hilton New York Times Square offers a wonderful nod to the iconic show. This comes as Hilton recently announced the opening of The Lion King Royal Suite, as a continuation of its partnership with Disney Theatrical Group.

The new immersive suite was curated by Devin Sparkles Design and is located only three blocks from Minskoff Theater, where The Lion King comes to life on Broadway. The one-king one-bedroom deluxe suite is spacious, inviting guests to experience the peace and beauty of the Pride Lands.

As guests step through the door they are immediately transported to the Serengeti with details paying homage to Disney’s Lion King.  The Lion King’s Royal Suite is adorned with plants in a nod to the sweeping grass plains of Africa, large basket art and hand-painted Rafiki-inspired patterns on the furnishings, including a large Rafiki sketch print framing the suite’s door.

Moreover, guests will see beautiful fabrics used in the musical on various soft goods, including pillows and bedding, rugs and wood touches in the suite. Other touches include Pan-Asian-inspired woven baskets on the walls throughout the suite, while bird puppets fly from the ceiling.

The hand-painted patterned chairs are a soft place for guests to relax while taking in framed costume sketches from the musical itself. Moreover, the bathroom features a lush, vibrant jungle oasis with artificial plants that contrast the warm Serengeti elements in the room.
