Here we explore beautiful Bora Bora in the South Pacific, Gran Canaria in Spain’s Canary Islands and for something busier, New York City. Enjoy the ride and if you are a scooter fan, make plans for later in the year!
Bora Bora, French Polynesia
This small South Pacific island lies northwest of Tahiti in exotic French Polynesia. Bora Bora is fringed with beautiful sandy inlets and offers a crystal clear turquoise lagoon, protected by a coral reef. When not on a scooter, this is perfect for scuba diving, exploring the marine life under the water.
In the heart of the island, Mt. Otemanu is a dormant volcano standing 2385.17 ft (727 m). This makes for a stunning, volcanic landscape to the rich, green island, while towering over the turquoise ocean. Matira Beach is a popular white sand destination, while gorgeous sunsets can be enjoyed from Matira Point.

Gran Canaria, Canary Islands, Spain
Gran Canaria has a different kind of landscape. The island lies off northwest Africa and has dramatic volcanic landscapes with black lava and white sand beaches. Here you can enjoy pleasant, spring-like weather all year around.
The most popular and busy beaches are Puerto Rico and Playa del Ingles. However, a quieter experience can be enjoyed on the beaches of San Agustin and Puerto de Mogan.
A visit to Roque Nublo is recommended, as this fascinating rock formation offers incredible vistas over the island and the sea. For a desert experience, head to the Natural Dune Reserve of Maspalomas, with its endless and fascinating dunes.

New York City, New York USA
On a completely different note, New York City is a bustling metropolis, spread over five boroughs. The city stands where the Hudson River meets the Atlantic Ocean. Manhattan is a must-visit, with its commercial and cultural centers, where the iconic Empire State Building stands tall.
Central Park is like the countryside set in the middle of the busy city and perfect for a picnic and stroll. Take a boat trip out to the Statue of Liberty, an American icon, standing in New York Harbor.
Evening entertainment is endless in New York, including its many excellent restaurants, bars and nightclubs. Alternatively, Broadway is the place to go for great theater productions, set in the fascinating, neon-lit Times Square area of the city. Enjoy a scooter journey around the streets of the city below.
